Sabrina is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and Registered Lactation Consultant (RLC) with an Associate's Degree in Child Studies, a Bachelor of Arts in Painting, and a Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders. She is a Certified Educator of Infant Massage and the owner of Nurture By Nature Holistic Lactation. I offer personalized, integrative, holistic breastfeeding services and parenting support for families in their homes throughout Connecticut. Sabrina began her lactation and infant feeding education as a volunteer-based La Leche League Leader in 2001 after overcoming nursing challenges she experienced with her most powerful teacher, her firstborn son! In 2005, Sabrina began a mentorship in holistic breastfeeding care with Intuitive Parenting and Holistic Lactation Institute. In 2007, Sabrina became an IBCLC and opened her private practice, Nurture By Nature Holistic Lactation LLC. She became a Certified Educator Of Infant Massage in 2020 and completed a BS in Communication Disorders in 2024.

In line with Sabrina's passion for natural living, she uses a holistic and integrative approach to help families identify and address the root cause of an issue rather than just treating symptoms. She employs various modalities, including nutrition, homeopathy, herbs, bodywork, movement, and mindfulness, to improve lactation, infant feeding, and overall wellness. She strives to empower parents, enabling them to make informed decisions for their family.

Sabrina provides in-home and telehealth consultations. She believes it is critical to work together with parents and their babies to address immediate concerns. She also provides educational information that empowers parents to make informed feeding and parenting choices. This early family connection and support help the baby thrive not only now but throughout life.

Sabrina is experienced in assisting families with a wide range of nursing, pumping, and feeding topics. She meets with families both pre- and postnatally. Some common needs addressed include: prental education, latching & positioning, shallow issues, tongue tie & oral restrictions, nighttime feeding & infant sleep, painful nursing, pump & evidence-based flange fitting, slow/low weight gain, low milk supply, overactive letdown, oversupply, plugged ducts & mastitis, introducing of solid foods, weaning, and more.

Sabrina understands the need for quality lactation and postpartum care and wants to ensure families can feel cared for and supported during this important time. Sabrina is dedicated and focused on listening to each individual parent’s story, hearing their experience, personal goals, concerns, and challenges with compassion. Sabrina offers non-judgemental counseling, information, and an individualized care plan specific to the needs of each unique dyad.

Sabrina participated in the Master Class on “Oral Habilitation of the Breastfeeding Dyad,” the Gut-Brain course, and the Pumping and feeding Gear. She focuses on the whole body for optimal feeding, growth, and development. She teaches infant massage through group classes and private instruction. She also has a personal interest in working with parents who are themselves or have a child diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes.

Sabrina has two sons, whom she nursed for a total of ten years until they each naturally weaned. Sabrina enjoys the journey of parenting from a holistic, nature-based approach. She homeschooled both of her kids from Elementary through High school, listening to and following their lead. Sabrina is always exploring new ways to nurture her clients, always learning, and always listening.
